    Default Culafin

With a shrug and a chuckle, Culafin replies with a dismissive wave of one lithe hand, "It could be hidden easily enough under a cloak. But it is of no monumental concern to me either way."

Leaving the sacked armor in the chariot, Culafin hops down and lands lightly on the ground, "Perhaps these folk might enjoy some entertainment. Or does our dour Rohirrim have more cautious wisdom to share about that as well?" He laughs softly and winks at Nardan.

"Regardless, we should not stand out here talking much longer, lest some observant villagers notice us and think us conspiring to do them harm and be suspicious of our missing party members." Culafin does a quick check of his gear and starts to walk towards the village.

    Nardan chuckles.
"Perhaps some music and relaxation would do us all good. Right behind you, master elf."
He follows Calufin towards the village, looking around to see if anyone else approaches.

"I guess I shall stay here to make sure the small one behaves," Noname' says before the departure of his companions, "for more than likely our chariot driving friend will not be able to handle such a wild one on his own. Yet again, both of us will probably still be lacking in the power necessary for that endeavor." Adding in with a small chuckle. "And don't cause too much trouble while your in town, cousin."

"That would be unwise, too." Replies Nardan to Calufin. "It is likely our enemies will start looking for us at the field where we fought. They will discover the pyre, or its remains, and will find none of their leader's armor. This will leave suspicion, because to fully consume a metal armor is nigh impossible. They will assume we have taken it, and ask people on their route if they have by chance seen such a magnificent piece, since it stands out. Wearing it and selling it will most likely lead to the same result."

Dorina waved backward down the road toward the battle,
"I believe that anyone coming upon that would first think Dragon battle. As to where the armor went a simple explanation would be that the dragon took it for his hoard."

Dorina with a shrug to settle all the equipment 'e carried patted 'is weapon and started after the elf.

"I wonder if it be too much to hope ya be a knowing a couple of good dwarfsongs now would it? Been a long time since i heard the Ballad of Dorkon Thundershield."

    Default Culafin

With a wink at his cousin, Culafin replies to Dorina, "Such hoots and toots as a dwarf song would be could never be considered good, and such cacophony might well break the eardrums of even Iluvater! I know not this ballad you mention, though that name seems familiar somehow. However, I do know a few songs about dwarves which might serve to entertain. It might be wise though, to save them for another time, since yon village doubtless houses some of your brethren and these songs might offend them."

"I'll lead the mounts around the town," Maltök said. "Any chariot would attract too much attention, and especially a fine one like mine."

OOC: I didn't know that Garr meant Maltök's Chariot by wheelbox, though Maltök will not allow the halfling on his chariot as there is no place for him during the ride, because Culafin is the passenger. But, for now, Garr can ride along - after he learns calling it a chariot instead of a wheelbox. ^_~

Joining them on the butte overlooking the tiny village in the distance and speaking to make his presence known, was Morinehtar. "Phew! What a hike!" He commented with a light smile on his lips. "Ye've gone far and done well. Pleased am I by your progress, for just beyond yonder hills lay the vale of our enemy." The blue-robed wizard looked fondly on those on the hill with him. "I'd wager an evening of rest and reverie are in order for the lot of you." He said with a motioning hand towards the village. "Suffer not the fear of the enemy, not with my presence." He mentioned in passing.

    Default Culafin

The spellweaver smiled slightly at the old wizard, "Greetings again, and glad am I to see you Morinehtar. You will find none here to take that wager, for it is indeed true. Your last words about the enemy seem somewhat familiar, however. Is that not what you told us when we first met at the inn?"

Dorina looked at the elf with a amused smile.

"You do not know the lyric to one of the greatest Dwarf ballads of all time. That has to be fixed immediately.

    His name was Dorkin Thundershield
He wander stone and hall and field.
He was both brave and proud and true.
His axe was sharp his eyes were blue.

Dorkin was the greatest dwarf of all.

He left our hall at the break of dawn
He were dismayed we were forlorn.
Still the world did call and he must go.
To bring his axe to slay the foe.
Dorkin was the greatest dwarf of all.

Dorina sang and if no one stopped her she was willing to sing all 150 verses of the song as many time as it took for the elf to learn them.

Garr gazes at Morinehtar reverently. The magic-man was great, and Garr knew it. With him at his side, Garr would be more than willing to enter the village.

"Garr go with magic-man into... follij?" Gar was still unsure on the name of the place, so he accompanied his unfortunate common with another point.
