ummm i got word from kal that the old link thing does not work, i do not know if he is right since i have not used it i am going to try it now and re-edit this post.

The link does work... and the one that links you directly to the chat too... How hard is it to click a link and then click 'chat' ?
The funny thing is, the link works for some and NOT for others. It would appear that Akiir is in the illustrious company of myself, because for some absolutely stupid reason, despite the link pointing to the correct place every time I click it, I too end up BACK AT THE NEW SITE and not our good old chat room.
Currently I am accessing it via Trillion, which is actually a bit better because I can take logs and stuff...

Yea, I don't think so.
And as far as the smilies akiir....they're phucked. What you click to the right there and what you get are usually very different.
Good thing I brought my own.
